Because Of Course, They’re All Guys

I forwarded a link to an article called Unit Testers Get More Chicks to some friends; one immediately replied, “Because of course, they’re all guys.” Ironically, I was complaining in the pub last night about the skewed gender representation at Demo Camp. Oops.

  2. Colour me confused, but how does a 7 year old, mature, proprietary/commercial product end up at DemoCamp? Am I missing the purpose of it or something?

  3. See the first and fourth points at http://www.ninjatactics.com/blog/?p=74. And noone said that it had to be non-mature or already commercialized.

    Consider yourself coloured. :)

  4. On the gender difference some local women are going to be doing something about that.

See ‘the kekova blog’ for people planning to find other women @ the upcoming ‘Mesh Conference’, and ‘a link I’d put in if the comment spam detection would let me’ for the team that’s starting to plan a ‘BlogHer North’ conference for the fall.

Maybe you know of some university groups who are trying to promote the same kind of thing?

  5. Ahem. Let’s not be narrow minded here. Obviously Unit Testers are all straight guys, lesbians, or bi (of either sex).
