Yes, Our Students Are Still Busy
2008-07-09 – 10:20Week 9 of 15 (or 10, or 16, depending on which student we’re talking about), and we’re all staying busy:
- I wrote five mid-term evaluations this morning. Unsurprisingly, I had more to say about the students who blog regularly than about those who don’t.
- Qiyu Zhu has wrapped up the role editor. He’s learned enough about software development to add, “for now”
He’d also like you to know that great bug writers think alike. - Bing Li and Ming Chow are less in love with ActionScript than they used to be.
- Kosta Zabashta gets to show his stuff off at DemoCamp next week; right now, he’s cursing the fact that localhost isn’t always a loopback.
- Nick Jamil is ringing a death knell. I think he means his project is getting close to completion, rather than to cancellation…
- Victoria Mui is reading about algorithms. Reading, reading, reading…
- Eva Wong thinks that working without a debugger is not funny at all.
- Geofrey Flores is re-thinking group submissions in Web-CAT.
- Dan Servos is printing.
