Such a tiny post!
As another XOer (XOist? XOite?), I’m curious about how you’ve set it up for blogging. Are you posting from the browser?
Also, glad to hear the machines are finally reaching Canada.

Any luck with touch typing? I’ve been a complete failure at it so far. Just to fit my fingers on the home row, I have to cram my fingertips as close together as they can possibly go.
I’ll bet it’s great for a 12-year-old though.

I’m actually very surprised (disappointed) at how slow it is — I remember the demos MIke Fletcher gave me last fall seeming much faster. The small keyboard makes touch-typing impossible for my fat fingers, and it doesn’t seem to run Flash properly (which rules out using it as a Scrabulous engine
). On the other hand, it *does* weigh next to nothing. Still haven’t tried plugging one of the university projectors into its USB port; if that works, I’ll be very impressed, and will probably start using it as a lecture engine.
