Shows You What the Web Knows

According to Walk Score, our neighborhood only rates 48/100 on a walkability scale. Pfah!

  2. Wow that’s terrible. I put in my work address and scored a 38. It’s in the middle of a huge ring of major department stores (Wal-Mart, Costco, Canadian Tire, Future Shop, Best Buy, Guzzo Cinema, etc) with a big shopping mall a very short walk away.

  3. I checked out Bloor/Spadina, it was 68. If the Annex is 68 (B-), then what is 100? Paris? Manhatten? So, 48 may be not so bad ;)
Pembroke/Dundas was 63 - in the same league as the Annex, in their terms (I did not try their Real Estate Tile, though…)
It listed “It’s not a Rosedale library” bookstore as a library, while missed Gerrard/Parliament TPL branch… so there is some room for improvement.
    However, a cool tool otherwise!
