Late Night Thoughts on Re-Reading Terry Pratchett
August 9, 2007 – 5:04 pmI know this is supposed to be a technical blog, but having just re-read three of Pratchett’s Discworld books, I feel compelled to share. He’s always funny, and there’s always a sting in the tail. My personal favorites are:
- Mort
- Wyrd Sisters
- Guards! Guards!
- Small Gods
- The Last Hero
- The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents
- Night Watch
- Feet of Clay
and, of course, Where’s My Cow?, which is Madeleine favorite book too. (Well, it’s the one shes happiest to chew on…) Recommended.

Not a single “millennium hand an’ shrimp” reference? For shame…
Personally, I’m a fan of Rincewind, but probably because “The Colour of Magic” was my first Pratchett novel.
